One of our younger clients Rose had a photo party with all her friends, Katie, Summer, Lily, Fin and Zy on Wednesday and it was loads of fun. This was a pilot project that we are hoping to introduce in the New Year. Rose and her friends arrived just before lunch accompanied by their Mums, oh and one Dad (sorry Crawford). After some lunch we photographed all the babies individually and I must say they were extremely well behaved. We even managed a full group with all SIX children, that was fun. Whilst finishing off their lunch everyone got a chance to have a sneak preview of their individual shoot before taking the six models home for a well deserved rest. It was an exciting day today as Chris & Lindzie picked up their gorgeous daughter Lexie’s ‘Year in the Life’ Album. It was quite emotional as Lindzie and Chris went through Lexie’s final album they could see how much she has changed since her very first shoot. They showed their appreciation by presenting us with not one but THREE fabulous bouquets of flowers for Lexie’s new adopted Aunties! We have spent quite a bit of time together over the last year capturing those special moments, watching Lexie grow from a cute little baby into the gorgeous little toddler she is now. Lexie - A Year in the Life

Gavin & Jennifer had a gorgeous and romantic setting for their wedding on the 25th July getting married on the private beach just outside Lodge on the Loch, Loch Lomond. We started off the day in the bridal suite with Jennifer and her fabulous bridesmaid Charlene, where the champagne was flowing along with a couple of happy tears! Jennifer looked stunning in her grecian inspired wedding dress and couldn’t wait to get down to the beach to get married.  The ceremony was relaxed, informal and emotional which was completely suited to the couple. After the ceremony the wedding party stayed on the beach for some fun in the sand and then we worked our way back up to the main hotel where the reception was being held.  It was a fantastic day and we left the couple celebrating and having loads of fun with family and friends. With Anne and Fraser’s Wedding just a couple of weeks away we decided to meet up with the couple at Pollock House near to where they stay and our studio and a completely different from their wedding which is taking place in Helensburgh.  As has been a theme this month with our engagement and wedding shoots it was a typical sunny and showery day but when we arrived at the park the sun was out so we managed to get loads of romantic and fun shots.  Just as we were on out last shot the heavens opened and after a bit of a mad rush to get everything together we finished there with us slightly damp but with a great set of images.  Below is a couple of  images from the shoot.  For more images from this shoot and to get information on our wedding packages check out our website www.finelines.co.uk

Its just under a year to go until Adam and Caron’s Wedding Day and we decided to meet up at the wedding venue, One Devonshire Gardens in Glasgow’s West End, to do a pre-wedding shoot. It was a usual Scottish Summer Day sunny one minute and raining the next but we took some amazing photographs both inside and out using lots of different areas of the building and grounds. We all had lots of fun and are full of ideas for the photography on their big day. Donna Blair the winner of our amazing Gorgeous & Glamorous photo shoot competition run in conjunction with The Scottish Wedding Directory, was in last week for her shoot and had a fantastic time. Donna brought a range of outfits and we spent time in between shooting chatting and having some wine. She brought her best friend and bridesmaid with her and has decided to give the photos to her fiance as a wedding gift. Donna raved about the whole experience and had so much fun and can’t wait to see her husband to be’s face when he see the photographs – which is why we won’t be posting any photos from the shoot just now as we don’t want to spoil the surprise! On Sunday 7th June the Fine Lines Girls (including the newest member, Baby Mia) were out to support Cancer Research and took part in Race for Life 2009 at Glasgow Green. It was a fantastic day and along with 18,000 other women we all ran, jogged and walked to raise money for Cancer Research.
